Fill 'er Up

I haven't had a whole lot of inspiration lately, so since it's been some time since I posted regularly I'll just clear out the archives. This abandoned gas station is located just off Route 10 in Whippany, NJ (maybe Parsippany, I'm not sure). This was just before sunset last October. Despite the good sun angle, the color shots didn't turn out quite like I hoped they would so I went the grainy B&W route.

Everything but...

Well, still no luck on the winter front. I think I've seen about 18 flakes so far. So here's another shot from the fall. I don't know what struck me about this particular sink, other than it was on the back porch of a business. So that's not usual I guess.

I hadn't planned to make this an artsy-fartsy shot, but the original image quality wasn't so hot. So using my trusty Photoshop plugins, I created this.

I thought I'd take a quick break from shots of New Jersey's natural beauty to a shot of...well, you get the idea. Thanks to the magic of Photoshop, even a piece of trash can look appealing ('appealing' being a relative term here).
